Konami has confirmed that the sixth instalment in the classic survival horror video game series, Silent Hill Homecoming, will be released across Europe at the end of February.

Silent Hill Homecoming will release simultaneously on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on February 27th. The game introduces another protagonist to the series, Alex Shepherd, who returns to his hometown of Shepherd’s Glen to investigate the sudden disappearance of his brother and struggle with his own grip on reality.

Homecoming was originally due to launch in Europe last November, but was delayed until 2009 for unspecified reasons. The game launched in North America last September to mixed reviews.
