17 amazing new Gears of War 2 screenshots

Microsoft has released 17 new screenshots of Gears of War 2, and it’s looking fantastic!

The new screens show three different environments: the opening hospital level, Landown (which you’ll recognise from the Assault level shown in gameplay debut trailer) and an underground cave.

Unsurprisingly, Gears of War lead designer Cliff Bleszinski recently told us that Epic are “pushing the 360” with GoW2’s visuals, but reckons that “a future product will probably [look] better”. God only knows how.

You can check out the full interview with Cliff here, and look out for our hands-on report with Gears of War 2 in the next issue of D+PAD, coming to www.dpadmagazine.com on October 14th.

Click the thumbnails below to check out the new screens.
